About

This site is a collection of articles and links about stuff I find interesting on the internet. It is infrequently updated. I recommend RSS for keeping up to date.

About Scott

Scott works in tech, living in the San Francisco Bay Area.

He works for Grabango, as an Architect on Shopper and Partner Systems. Does too much.

Ideas and views are his own, and do not reflect those of his employer.

Previously, he worked for A9, a wholely owned subsidiary of Amazon. He worked in the Visual Search group, managing the mobile team. He started there in 2012 as an iOS developer and helped them ship two standalone apps, and integrated features into the main Amazon app. If you’ve used one of the Amazon app’s camera features on iOS, you’ve experienced a bit of his code. He’s sorry about that.

Previously he worked for HPE (when it was just HP). There he worked on Virtual Connect and Serviceguard.

He went to BYU and majored in Computer Science.

He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Arkansas and Tennessee.

He grew up in Anchorage, Alaska.

Contact and Stuff

Scott is poor at responding to email, and basically any other random contact. LinkedIn is basically useless. Let’s not even talk about Facebook.
