This site is a collection of articles and links about stuff I find interesting on the internet. The content and style choices are heavily inspired by kottke.org, but with my personal bent. Expect things about my interests including:
- Video games
- Programming (specifically around iOS development)
Additionally, many posts are links with minimal discussion. This is inspired by Daring Fireball’s linked list. These posts have a ↗️ at the end of their title. The title is a link to the content.
Scott works in tech, living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Currently he works for A9, a wholely owned subsidiary of Amazon. He works in the Visual Search group, managing the mobile team. He started there in 2012 as an iOS developer and helped them ship two standalone apps, and integrated features into the main Amazon app. If you’ve used one of the Amazon app’s camera features on iOS, you’ve experienced a bit of his code. He’s sorry about that.
Ideas and views are his own, and do not reflect those of his employer.
He went to BYU and majored in Computer Science.
He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Arkansas and Tennessee.
He grew up in Anchorage, Alaska.
Contact and Stuff
Scott is poor at responding to email, and basically any other random contact. LinkedIn is basically useless. Let’s not even talk about Facebook.
